A little about me.
I was the little girl that grew up loving to work with my hair and help my friends with their hair. So, it was only natural that I chose a career working with hair. I attended Duncan Brothers School of Hair Design in Edmond, OK. I was so anxious to get started that I began classes a week after I graduated high school. A week after I graduated from Duncan Brothers, I accepted a job working at Ihloff Salon and Day Spa in Tulsa. I made it through their intern program in record time and spent 3 wonderful years there learning the salon business and receiving additional training. I have always wanted to start my own salon and decided that it was time to do it.
I want to take the many techniques and processes that I learned at Duncan Brothers and Ihloff, but add in a little bit of my personality. I am a blend of small town and big city, with a flair for fun and interesting things. I came up with the name for my salon by using my Great Grandmother's name "Rose" and combing it with my country girl Southern roots.
I look forward to serving you and your family at Southern Rose Hair Salon for many years to come. Check back often, as will be adding more content over the next few weeks and letting you know more about what is going on at Southern Rose.
Thanks
Kirstie Davis
